The only thing I can think of on Flood's player decisions, gameday play calling is that his is coaching not to lose. His conservative defensive scheme to play soft zone, no blitzing compared to aggressive man to man defense, if you get beat deep you get beat, take some chances. His play calling, running on 1st downs even when the other team has stacked the box and daring you to throw the ball. Keeping Laviano at QB and not even giving Rettig a shot when the game is out of hand. I think he's just coaching not to lose and his game plan should be coaching to win, give the kids a chance!
