Am I the only one that thinks that a 5 yr old could post better information on the coaching search than the Clarion ledger and daily Journal blogs???

no one knows anything and they aren't reporting as if they do. Just b/c Gene is recklessly throwing out names, doesn't mean veazey and 2HD should.

Hell, Veazey is calling coaches.

whenever someone disagrees with someone else, it seems that person says the one disagreeing is accepting mediocrity.

Some of ya'll need to come up with your own schtick.

Its similar to the defense of "just sayin"...like if you write that, you shouldn't be called out.

Just sayin.

there is nothing to report right now.

Hell, I basically broke the Croom firing the night and morning before it happened and I'm not hearing ****, right now.

How did I know about Croom? Because somebody leaked it. There are no leaks right now.

The thing with Veazey and Locke is they work for newspapers, so they have to have some sort of reference or official word before they can post something. This is also a very closed coaching search so there isn't really anything to report other than rumors right now.

Yep, more MSU employees not excelling at their jobs. Wait, what's that? They aren't MSU employees? You don't say?

I think yall are missing my point. It has nothing to do with the blogers it has to do with our fan base not expecting better information. If you go look at Auburns and Tennessee's blogs then you will see what real blogs are suppose to be like.

After all, he's the one not giving anyone any info. Veazey has been calling people, getting info on old coaches getting new gigs, and trying to find out something, anything about the search. The only other thing he could do is post about every half hour the ridiculous, implausible rumors we hear on here. After a while noone would pay attention to him anymore, which might just be bad for business.

We have been looking for a coach for 5 days and have not have 1 conformation that we spoke with anybody, not one conformation that we have contacted any candidate. Weve had coaches tell us that they are not interested in us, but we have not had one solid concret piece of evidence that we have reached out to ANYBODY! Give me a break people, Auburn had press releases out within 5 hours of their coaching search of people THEY have contacted. Some of you morons argue just to argue the point is irrelevant to you. Pay attention idiots and use your brains. I know what the hell Im talking about.

The new influx of posters need to go.

Is this some elite club? I could give a damn less if you ban me for asking a simple question. I was just asking a simple question, its not that serious to me. Its a message board.

You want everyone to know exactly who we ask the moment we ask it? You want to end up with the 12th choice and have the whole nation know it? Who is the d-line coach for USC now, I wonder if he is interested?

Personally I am thrilled it is being handled the way it is. MSU already has a stigma about it-what happens when choice 1 declines openly. Choice 2 begins to second guess and wonder what the other guy knows that he doesn't and he declines as well. Suddenly the stigma is reenforced 10 fold. Best thing to do is to keep it secretive. Not only does it keep from scaring coaches away, but it'll help in recruiting. Who do you think generates more excitement- the guy who everyone thought was our man all along, or the guy MSU had to settle for?

will be coming in the mail complete with the officially unofficial "SixPackSpeak or Bust" bumper sticker and a SixPack car deodorizer.

Please let me know if you don't want it so I won't have to put it in the mail.
