No, but he's the one we've got. I'd rather take a chance he's the blind squirrel who finds the nut than just keep Lemonis. It's not like he could hire a much worse coach.
Why would we not? He's made what? 2 hires? Soccer and football and we have no idea if either is good or bad yet. This stuff is pretty ridiculous until we see a track record.
To be fair on both, the soccer coach he hired has not coached a game yet and the football coach he hired is one season in. I agree that his hiring track record is very much an incomplete.
I doubt Nick Saban would have had much better of season last year if we hired him instead of Lebby.

You got another AD in your back pocket? Lemonis is much more likely to be gone this year than Selmon, so I don't really see the point of this line of thinking.
I think Selmon fires Lemonis after the SECT, and we end up hiring a power conference assistant/small school head coach. I'd be very surprised if we steal a sitting power conference coach, ala Schlossnagle. We cheaped-out on hiring Lemonis and we cheaped-out on hiring a football coach, we're sure as hell aren't going to break the bank on a non-revenue sport in the current environment.

He probably could have evaluated the portal better. A lot of last season team were guys Lebby himself brought out of the portal.
He did get cheap with hiring the HC but those dumbasses definitely overpaid for the DC. That makes you wonder about them.
No but I'd rather take that chance than continue with Lem.
