he doesn't have a clue about. The OM campus is nice no doubt and they have beautiful women as do most college campuses in the South but that has never landed them a Top 5 recruiting class before. Obviously other things are afoot here. Some of it is a good recruiting effort and having the right connections but there is likely a lot more than just that. But with the anything goes mentality of college recruiting these days they will likely reap the rewards of this class without any issues going forward so you have to just man up and give them credit for doing whatever it took to get the talent they brought in.

We were landing top 20 classes coming off of 3 win season under Orgeron. I don't see why it's a stretch to see a top 10 win off of a 7 win season with the same recruiting mentality.

Cowherd is toeing the ESPN party line that this is a great story. I seriously doubt he really believes it. I usually like his stuff, but his ratings pandering is pretty obvious sometimes.

That was also the same year that Bucky, himself, was named by NCAA for recruiting violations. Seems like that year he 'forgot' he was not in a recruiting coach position when he spetn a month recruiting.

Yea, they have the same recruiting mentality. Deja vue all over again?
