I know I can't change the mindset here, but i cannot understand why most of you cannot enjoy the 6-1 run we are on. The sooner you folks realize college baseball ain't guerrilla ball anymore, the better. Games aren't won 11-7 anymore. They arent. Especially not in our park. The bats have completely de-revolutionized the game.
Stating the obvious,but the whole point of baseball is to score more runs than the opponent. I'm so sick of hearing that we can't hit. Nevermind that most of our position guys are first year starters--Ill give it to you--we can't hit. No one can hit. But we can sure as hell pitch. And it may get us back on the cusp of the college world series once again. Enjoy winning.
Cohen is recruiting and developing pitching and speed. He is playing percentages and we are taking alot of pitches. Rea would have 14 jacks if he were playing 10 years ago but he is not as valuable today and wouldn't be too any team. It's sucks, it's frustrating, I don't like it, but it's the way the game is now and nothings changing for the foreseeable future. We may have more experienced hitters some years and be better at the plate, but I'm afraid that what you guys are waiting for isn't going to come.
