Please this thread for all discussions about college FB coaches being fired, being hired, rumors, etc. during and after the 2022 college football season.

I'll keep all the existing threads about coaches that have already been fired, or coaches being rumored for open positions. But I do request that all future posts about this subject go in this thread.

David Shaw steps down at Stanford. Dude is a good coach; wonder if he’ll put his name out there for other openings. Stanford is a tough job.

My only question is Fickell leaving because the cupboard is getting bare? Haven't followed their last few recruiting classes. I think it's a good get is Wiscy can get him but may be other suitors as well

hard to say. Fickell has been targeted before, but has elected not to move. However, there does seem to be a lot of smoke on this one:

Exactly my thoughts Tom. He had chances to go to good programs and always said he was anchored in at Cincy...not sure why there is so much smoke this time around
