Just watched a little of the game from my DVR last night and had a questions. Are we the only team in the country that can't seem to match our primary color? It looked so amateur to have the R on our helmet a completely different red than the red of our uniforms. At the very least, couldn't they used that faded red on the Block R and facemask?

I have no problem with the uniforms, just try to make it "uniform". Either go all faded or make the uniforms scarlet.

The thing is they aren't really different up close...its just something about these jerseys that they appear light on tv/from a distance.

Looks like #5, 3, 9 and 30 for Pitt are all wearing 'shorts' (above the knee), looks funny to me. Only #54 looks like a slightly longer pant that covers the kneecap.

I couldn't read the numbers, they look salmon, the scratches are fake, I like the 20XX version more, the colors don't match, it's not traditional, ... How many did I miss?

This is a football forum, take these whinny subjects elsewhere... Maybe you can start a new forum, how would Rutgers Project Runway, or MW/OB (Men Without Balls), do for a forum name?

The scratches are fake because they are supposed to be sword and ax scratches not football . So unless these guys go into real battle with swords they have to be placed on the uni .

Dents are part of armored knights "battle scars".. why don't they mimic dents on the helmets? (no, not a serious suggestion.. making a point)

Could also have a whole slew of possible helmet stickers.. like Coats of Arms.. and leave a space on the helmets for individual players to choose their own sticker. That might actually be cool. (serious suggestion).
