Neither did Creighton. Jayskers had to put their blue away until November and got their red back out a couple weeks earlier than they thought they would.

Actually the Buffs not having baseball was a very good thing for the Huskers for quite a few years, when NU scored the likes of Matt Hopper, Luke Gorsett, Luke Wertz, Jake Opitz and a few others. I'm not sorry that Mike Anderson's gone, but it's too bad NU couldn't keep that Colorado pipeline going.

Got my tickets today for the Lafayette Regional. It will be a long weekend of college baseball for me. Not that I'm complaining!!

Let's please not act like the Huskers were a shoe in or something. I think most fans understand (including Erstad) that if Iowa beats Ohio (St) in the B1G tourney final that the Huskers are likely out.

I'll bash CU football all day long but I personally don't need see a need to hate on all things Colorado...
