I predict this will not go well.

And even better, he will stay with the Vikings thru the end of the year. Who needs recruiting THIS year?

Mr Croom had no connection to MSU except that he played and coached against us many years ago.

it out loud. When a man gets a job, he takes the damn job, and doesn't screw around about it.

I have a feeling that this will turn into a Croomesque situation for the Buffs. This guy has only been a position coach, both in college and the pros. Bohn is LT personified, and unlike State, CU hasn't progressed in its fan support since the early '90s. Back when I was at State, CU was a much stronger program. Now, State is in the lead. CU may say that they wanted to stay within the family, but let's face it, they couldn't afford any better.

The Redskins' current TE coach took the head position (Jon Embree). That's right, a TE coach.

As I've stated before, I married a CU grad and talk Buff football with a lot of her family and friends. They all seem indifferent about the hire... I tried to explain to them what happens when you hire an black NFL position coach, with no prior coordinating or head-coaching experience at ANy level, to be the leader of your football team.

What's even more scary about this hire for CU is the fact that THEY DID IT TWICE (hiring position coach with no other coordinating or head coaching experience).

My first e-mail after I heard the hire to the CU mailing list I have, was that your program will turn the corner when you get an AD in place that isn't a moron. Bohn has completely dropped the ball on this.
