Ed Christian, the big OL out of Valdosta, re-opened his recruitment after de-committing from Florida State. Saban moved him back on their board ahead of Robinson. Conventional wisdom says they take 2 more OLs, and right now Robinson sits at #4 behind James Stone, Arie Kouandjio, and Christian. So this explains why Robinson has not been getting nearly the love he was from Bama.

I realize it's a helluva long way to February, but I wouldn't be surprised if we stay in the mix with Robinson. Would be huge.

relative to his position with Bama, then I would tell them to take a hike. Too many other really good programs chomping at the bit to get him for him to settle for being a leftover choice for Bama. The only way I would put up with that if I were him would be if I was a lifelong fan of that school and I don't think that's the case with Robinson and Bama.

By every service I've seen, Robinson is rated higher than Arie Kouandjio. However, Robinson doesn't have a little brother who is a junior and already ranked in the top 50 juniors nationwide. They're looking for a 2fer with Kouandjio.

I know it was against South Panola, but he looked worse than bad. He was completely dominated on pretty much every play. Olive Branch has a history of turning out overrated busts on the offensive line and it looks like that tradition is going to continue.

that predicted he would not be able to play tackle at this level. He'd have to move to OG. Can't stay on his feet.

we need those to.

Also, I've been impressed with what Hevesey has done with our motley crue of an o-line.

I went back and re-read the analysts report on Robinson. He didn't say Robinson couldn't play OT at "this level," he said Robinson couldn't play tackle at the "next level." Big difference.

Hell, if Bama doesn't want him, we'll take him in a heartbeat. So, he ends up playing guard in the league. Big deal!

Another Calvin Wilson wouldn't be so bad, another Donovan Davis would be a different story.

It's really hard to project O-linemen. He might not have good coaching, good eating habits, or a good weight program. What he does have is unbelievable size and decent athletic ability. Give him a redshirt and a couple of years down the road, who knows. I will take my chances. If he doesn't pan out at tackle, you can always move him to guard ala Leonard Davis.

South Panola make Bumphis look like a 7th grade WR his jr. year. Bumphis made one catch all night....the last play of the game....for no gain. He was cutting his routes off short over the middle because he knew he was going to get leveled.

Honestly, you can't put any credence in a player when they play USP. They can make anybody look bad. Really bad.

Its so very sad that a kid that big sucks so horribly at OL play and is that much of a *****.

I've seen kids 100 pounds lighter block better than him.

His ranking is based solely on his size, and on his size only. His offers are based on his size, and size only. If he was truly evaluated on OL play, nobody would know who he is.
