My guide says it's channel 400, but I just have a screen that says one moment please, this channel will be available shortly. Tried resetting but nothing.

Hell no. I've got TiVo, and it shows up on the channel guide as 400 for HD, 716 for SD, but when I turn to either one it says, "This channel is not available. Please contact your cable provider." My first call to Comcast was at 5:30; the guy says, "Man, what time is it where you at?!?" I told him 5:30. "See, the thing is," he told me, "that network doesn't start until 6:00." Explained to him it was 6:00 ET, 5:00 CT, and I've seen on the internet that it's on, and people are watching it. Then he blames it on TiVo, and I told him it's not TiVo, it's Comcast.

Then he says he's going to have to send out a technician, and asks if I can be here between 8:00 - 10:00 tomorrow; no, I tell him, I'm out of town for work all day tomorrow. No problem, he says ... can I be here that same time on the 22nd? I said, "my god, man, you mean a WEEK from tomorrow?!?" and he says yes, that's the next available time. Soooo, I technically have a service appointment for a week from tomorrow, but I've got a deep, sinking suspicion it will magically appear sometime between now and then.

17 Comcast. 17 them all to hell.

Comcast has had more than ample time to get their issues squared away since taking a market foothold in this region. You wouldn't know any difference in them today from their first year of business. They are an incompetent bunch.

This. 1000 times. The customer service people, bless their hearts, are inept. Freakin unacceptable.

After telling the tech that came to fix my internet, he advised that you should always contact customer service online or through the chat feature on the app. Then, once you're talking to them, ask them to call you (or for a number to call them).

This gets you someone in Jackson, not the Phillippines. According to the tech. I have not confirmed.

The Comcast service rep I just talked to was very helpful and apologetic about the SEC Network being available in Rankin Co. Apparently it's a "system limitation" making the SEC Network not being available from Comcast in Rankin Co. They need to fix this problem soon (like in the next week) or I'm changing providers.
