In a negative way

Its obvious the big 10 tourney doesn't matter

Psu a 10 seed wtf
Didn’t confirm negative way. Specifically said considered injuries all season, mentioned RU UCLA Kansas someone else I didn’t hear.

Wachtel told us brackets are essentially set before tournament play and you need to play your way in not out.

Complete bs.

If it’s about a complete body of work and no recency bias, an injury should have no impact.

What does Bill Self’s health a few days before selection Sunday have to do with Kansas seeding and their performance all season? Why is that even a consideration?

What a bunch of dip$hits.

I always thought considering injuries was ridiculous. You’re judged on your whole team and everyone has more than five players. Shouldn’t put a team in or out because of injured players out or returning

In the end, the warts on Rutgers’ resume – principally four Quad 3 losses, an unprecedented amount for an at-large selection – held the day. A non-conference stretch of schedule ranked 342s out of 363 teams surely didn’t help, either. Rutgers has played a soft non-conference schedule since Steve Pikiell took the reins in 2016, but this is he first time it's broken against the Scarlet Knights in a tangible way.

They should have read this message board and specifically “the geniuses” who said that Mag was not a big loss or that we might play better without him.

What's the one common denominator with all the other teams mentioned?

They're all in the tournament. So they weren't penalized whatsoever, in there cases they got the benefit of the doubt most likely.

Stop with the Temple games. Play Gonzaga.
yep...we can play them at their place, and they'll call it a home game for us

after the refs steal the game from us

everyone bitching about Minnesota...we lost that game...we should own that. but those 2 above items cost us an inivte.

I'm not even that upset because I wasn't going to go to the tourne. We have been playing horrible for a month. We would have lost the 1st game anyway.

Don't get blown out by Nebraska at home.

Don't get blown out by Michigan at home.

Don't dance to Toto and then blow a 10 point lead with 75 seconds against 7 win Minnesota

Don't get run out of the gym against Illinois

Don't get your *** kicked by Northwestern at home with the season on the line

Beat Wisconsin by 1 who is a bottom feeder in the B1G

All that happened just this past month. One of the analysts a few weeks back said if you give the committee a reason to be left out, they will leave you out and that's exactly what we did.

Plus our OOC strength of schedule is embarrassing. Pike should be ashamed at this

Rutgers looked like a different team after Mag went out. We didn't just lose but looked bad losing. Losing to Minnesota killed our chances. We didn't lose because of Mag being hurt. Our lack of a contributing bench due to poor recruiting was the killer. In retrospect, Simpson should have started sooner as PG. Disappointed but hope this becomes a motivator for next year. Rutgers needs to replace much of the bench , possibly as many as 6 players.

We only won at PSU because Mulcahy got into foul trouble and Simpson came in. We couldn't figure out how to fix our lineup until it was too late. In hindsight Andre is only a 6th man and Paul should've been benched he was horrific for a month.

Oskar, Miller, Dean belong somewhere else next season.
