Rutgers looked like a different team after Mag went out. We didn't just lose but looked bad losing. Losing to Minnesota killed our chances. We didn't lose because of Mag being hurt. Our lack of a contributing bench due to poor recruiting was the killer. In retrospect, Simpson should have started sooner as PG. Disappointed but hope this becomes a motivator for next year. Rutgers needs to replace much of the bench , possibly as many as 6 players.
Agree with you.

That dope Dan Dakich was asked if there was any controversies with the selections and he said absolutely none. They got it entirely right this year. That guy is always such a dolt. Probably the dumbest sportscaster out there and not because of this.

I didn't read this full thread but the committee members are not aligned on this then and aren't acting like a committee.

Watching the 2 games on CBS today they interviewed a committee member during halftime, I believe it was, on national television (probabaly a clip somewhere) to which he said they DO NOT look into injuries on rankings using UCLA as an example who has now has 2 key players injured.

Why look at injuries as factor for selection but not for rankings in the tourney? Besides , Simpson came alive the last 2 games and should of been noticed.
