Use this thread to ***** about the weather.

I don't mind the cold, but the nasty salt that is everywhere really gets to me. Everything is just gross and dirty.

4 inches of snow on the ground here in Charleston. Most since the Xmas Eve snowstorm in 1989.

Going to be a brutal, record breaking weekend for the Northeast. They're saying it's the winter version of Hurricane Sandy. Pretty wild stuff. Kind of excited to hunker down and not leave the house.

It’s already kicking *** down here. Predicting 100 mph gusts by the time it hits the NE.

These are the temps and wind chills from my neck of the woods the last few days. Thank God it's above zero today.

If it's gonna be this cold, give me some snow and ice so they'll cancel work! I've only gotten one free day since I've been full time, the other 10 were when I didn't get paid for time off.

C'mon!!!!

The national news showed a guy somewhere in northeast and asked if he was getting ready for the snow-bomb-tsunami thing. He has already piled snow up in his small yard as high as he can throw it to clear his drive and won't have anywhere to shovel it to. I can't come up with enough f's to describe how I feel about that.

They just need to call some necks in the UP to come over and help. Those dudes get around in eight feet of snow from September till June best I can’t tell.

I lived through the back-to-back mother's of all winter weather. 1977 with record setting cold temps where the Ohio river froze solid from shore to shore. Then 78 with record setting snowfall. This $h!+ here is a piece of cake. No complaints!

Cold weather makes me so mad I want to fight. Being cold conjures an anger in me that goes unseen for any other reason.

I ******* hate it with all my being. Even more than liberals.

UPers are complete, isolated weirdos. Please don’t let them ever come down around us regular folk.

And it’s 56 and this is total horse manure.

Walked outside after work yesterday, and while it didn't feel warm it didn't exactly feel cold either. Looked at my phone and it was 28 degrees, guess at this point I have adjusted to the single digit temps. At least we haven't had any measurable snowfall to date.

Let's pivot a bit in regards to inclement weather:

If you have the technical equipment to work from home, you are at times EXPECTED to work from home, and have no need to be physically in the office.. then why the hell do some companies insist that you can't work from home during the work day.

No reason for us to be here with how bad the roads are.. We're all "online" in a multitude of ways.. the the hell does it matter if I'm getting things done from home.

Drives me crazy.

Colder than a witch's titty in a brass bra. I'm just glad I don't live in Nebraska and work outside like I did in the Air Force.

Honestly in Louisville it’s been cold, but there has been no wind and no snow. It’s really not that bad. With no wind and snow it’s really more brisk than anything if you are dressed properly.

+1. VPNs and GoToMyPC are not rocket science.

Attended a graduate-level course on teleworking around 10 years ago. It all revolves around trust and accountability.
