side of the page. Doesn't surprise me at all that they treat this like another simple press release. We are only talking about a 20 year old who was starting for a now top 20 team in the nation....and, oh yeah, a member of the SEC.....who was playing just a few weeks ago and is now having funeral arrangements made for him and his family.

I am sure that their medical bills are beyond payable right now. The more exposure, the more likely people are to donate to Nick's memorial fund...

has already said that Nick's medical bills are taken care of. Perhaps now is not the time to whip out the inferiority complex and beat your chest about media exposure. A 20 year old is dead of cancer, do you really give a +##% if ESPN reports it or not? This topic is beyond stupid to me.

It's more about people seeing the story and wanting to help the family. Low had a link to the memorial fund in his story. I hope more have something similar.

I had a family member who passed from pancreatic cancer...if you have never been there, then 17 off. Nick's mother needs all the help she can get and if I had the ability for getting the information out through large media channels, I would have taken it in a heartbeat...if State has the medical bills taken care of, then donate in his memory to St Judes for cancer research.

This postNEVER said anything about STATE'S benefit of the media exposure...

17 all of you for acting like ********.

Every local news and national sports website I've seen has something posted on it. I'm pretty sure the SEC will do something to honor Nick this weekend at all the games. Go to si.com and look at the updated power rankings and there's basically a memorial about him in our write up, and also information on where to donate. That's ESPN, CBS Sports, SI, Fox Sports. All of them have it.
