Big congrats to coach Diamont. Should've been at East Surry, but after the way they treated him, I hope SS wears out ES.
I am with you on that for sure. They got what they deserved tonight with all their bragging !
congrats to the Coach...ironically I was at the East Surry/Reidsville game last nite at Pilot Mt. in the Coach Diamont facility...When they announced that he had gotten his 300th win....the applause was less that I would have expected for a guy that used to be their head man.....don;t know a thing about what happened but I'm assuming there was some bad feelings by some there........................
Daddy ball. They chose a championship over moral fiber.
So it's like college football now.
Well the lack of applause could have been because I think a lot of their fans were shell shocked after Reidsville jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter.....they have a good program and some good players but no where near last year's once in a lifetime team....they were the real deal last year..

Don't judge us all by the actions of a few in the community that was behind the ousting of a great coach and an even better man. Lowman and the players had no part in it so they are of no fault. The former principal and her gang of thieves and a school board member are where the blame and hard feelings should be directed.
Little known fact Lowman interviewed at MA the same week he did at East. Who got the best of that deal?

Lowman is a very good coach...His father (Ithink) was the head coach at Bandys when Reidsville played that team in back to back state title games in 2002 and 2003 (both won by Reidsville)...so he obviously comes from good coaching stock..........................
Trent is a high quality individual on and off the field. East Surry was lucky to land him.
Coach Diamont put together the team that won the state 1A championship in 2019 and was forced out by parents, school board members, and the former principal and not allowed to be a part of that big WIN.

Principal was retiring, had to make it happen then because their leverage wouldn't be there much longer. This is a dead horse that has been beaten several times. We should follow Coach Diamonts lead and move on.
Those of us in Reidsville had no idea about this situation. Just seemed odd that a man coaching at another school has his name on the stadium scoreboard.

they named the stadium after him, after they let him go. He’s a better man than me is all I know. I would have told them where they could shove it.
That's why he's the man he is. He's better than that. I'm just glad that the ones that ran him off have to see his name every time they look at the scoreboard.
Wow and they fired this man. Shame on East...... That mans record speaks for itself.
