Volnation no offense taken. I respect your opinion and can tell it's usually thought out and not off the cuff bull crap. With that being said, I know who the better team is. I know who the more talented team is. Heritage is supposed to win. Yes Brookville has several key guys out and that does effect them. I saw the defense step up last week and hold a good montchello offense to 15 pts. Believe me I do know though that montchello is no heritage. I just honestly believe that this Brookville team has to much fight in it to be blown out. They have several really good receivers lead by arguably the most underrated player in the area in Micha glaize. Ryan North is a gritty runner who I think will get some chuncks up the middle on a heritage dline that didn't impress me at all the two times I saw them play. If given time Bernard will get the ball down feild to play makers. He is the best pure passer in our area in my opinion, and can move well too. This is a tough group that needs to stop hurting itself and if they do that they have a chance to beat heritage.

Just to answer your questions.

Statistical information tells me Davis is 75% of your rushing offense and 51% of Heritages total offensive production. What happens if Davis is slowed to say 25%?
*I don't think it is possible to slow Davis down...even the game they lost he ran for 200+ yards???

2. Heritage struggled stopping the Jefferson Forest rushing game and gave up 38 points and if they had any defense would have possibly prevailed. Staunton River and LB, likely have better offenses and defenses than JF. How will Heritage slow these teams down?
*LB is not going to line up and run down heritage's throat. If LB makes it, game will be over at half. They are still living off the Blacksburg win. What other good team have they beat? SR knows the deal, they already got a little taste in benefit game.

3. Just like EC Glass, Hopewell can match your athleticism and speed plus they will spread you out and throw the ball. Does this concern you at all?
*They were more athletic last year when they played SR. We all knew what happened. I don't know enough about them to speak on it.

Heritage just does not have a weakness anywhere..I think they are way above average at every position on offense and defense. I just don't think you can say the same for any of the teams left.
I agree that Heritage is the most complete team left but they do have weaknesses, just like any other team. I’ve seen them play several times this year and their blaring weakness is the Offensive line. Sure they are huge but, they do not stay on blocks well. Davis takes a TON of contact in the back field, he just breaks most of them. If anyone has watched Heritage, they would notice this. Glass was able to gang tackle and get Davis to the ground in backfield a lot in their game and that was the difference in the outcome. Another weakness of theirs is that the receivers drop way too many passes. They catch a lot but they are also prone to several drops a game. I will say that I don’t think they have a weakness defensively. Their secondary may be the weakest group of their defense but they’re still better than average and better than most teams secondary but they are super aggressive on the run so a twam with a good play action game may be able to catch them slipping once or twice a game.

@Pioneer 4life I don’t know if you have seen LB play but, lining up and running down peoples throats is exactly what they do. They have 3 O lineman that have several D1 offers each. They have the best OL in 3A and a very talented, physical running back.

Defensively in my mind they aren’t as good as advertised there were multiple games where the offense has just bailed them out by out performing the other team. Appomattox, JF, glass to name a few. The offense can be stopped as you said one hat isn’t enough for Davis. I’m unsure if the bees have enough to pull this out but in the coming weeks as GW was shown teams who’ve been here understand what it takes and what to do so the road will stiffen as heritage moves forward.

Vol nation maybe it's just me but I don't think heritage dline is very good against the run between the tackles. Laterally they seem good because of their athleticism but I think they can be had north and south. Just my opinion though.

The big uglies are for real in Botetort and former JF coach Don Rice’s son HUNTER is the bruiser running behind them. Don’t sleep on the cavaliers, and I know after taking fear the wing to the wire in the first contest I don’t doubt them or the rivers capabilities against Heritage but I preferably want to see who’s better head to head overstreet or Davis as overstreet gets the chance to shut him down.

Trey is the kicker. His youngest son Hunter is the RB.

Are you guys finished crying about my comments? Guys just chill and enjoy the show. I can say what I want, I am not playing the game? Heritage is on a mission and Brookville is just in the way. Then it will be LB/SR. Nothing personal just business.

Pioneer4life, I am not sure why you would insuate that I was whining, I just respectfully asked a few questions with the hope you could answer them as I know very little about Heritage. In fact, I actually complimented your confidence in your team.

Have a blessed holiday.

I think we can all agree that we are all looking forward to whatever game we plan to attend. Any team that makes it to the final 8 should be congratulated. Each of these teams have worked their butts off to get this far and I'm just glad I'm lucky enough to watch them play. Good luck to all teams competing and go BEES!!

You do know that Davis also had 35 CARRIES that night too right. Glass held him to 6 to 7 yards a carry. He is averaging 12 yards a carry on the year. Probably more since the playoffs. Glass essentially shut him down. Heritage offensive line was weak that game.

But i do agree with you that teams in 3A won’t be able to limit him like Glass did.
