His speech was heartfelt and...sweet. He is a kid and he did something special. I hate the Cards as a rival but I am very happy for him. Earned and well-deserved.

The only think that I take issue with is that without Lamar Thomas recruiting him to Louisville, Lamar Jackson does not go to Louisville! I wonder if he was told not to give Lamar Thomas any credit for recruiting Jackson to Louisville! Thomas had to convince Petrino to give Jackson a look!

Congrats to him.. but it sucks. I hate every ounce of it. I hope he EFFIN chokes on the trophy. I dont think some of you know what a rivalry is supposed to be. But then again many of the same people who are happy about this... were also wanting UL in the playoff.

I have to say the kid deserves the Heisman... Congrats to him and I wish him well in the NFL... I'm glad that we didn't knock him out of a deserved award... After all, we were the first team he began his assault... What I would like to know, is why wasn't that kid starting the whole year? Why did he have to come off the bench and beat us? Anyway, congrats Lamar...

It's quite a testament to how good Jackson is that he could win the Heisman at a baseball school.

Meh I'm as blue as you get and I'm fine with him winning. We beat em, no need for post season hate. I save that for the basketball game and next year's game in Commonwealth
I'm all for the rivalry and hatred of U of L. But the hate needs to stay towards the schools as a whole and wanting to see them lose and beat them every chance we get. As individuals, a lot of this kids are solid and not hard to like. He deserves the Heisman and seems to be a great kid. Good for him.

But no way shape or form is it embarrassing to hate the fact a rival got that accomplishment. So point me to the UL fans happy about Anthony Davis??? Or happy that UK beat them at papa johns stadium and improved our success? *crickets*

Jackson did win ACC Player of the Year by a wide margin.
So if a U.K. Player say wins the Heisman next year will the award still be a farce ? I honestly thought Watson had closed the gap but I heard Jackson got 620 of the 900+ votes.
