I agree that Watson was more of a leader, closed big games, especially at the end, but, Isn't that more of what the Davey O'Brien Award is, for which Watson won ?
Truth be told most liked Anthony Davis-(even the luniacs on message boards and that is no matter who you cheer for)...fantastic College Player who could dominate a game without scoring a point and tremendous talent in the NBA. Hope he can finally stay healthy.

UL fans were quick to bash Coach Thomas when he left for U.K.
Had he lost, we couldn't say we beat the Heisman Trophy winner. His passing against us in 2015 was quite inaccurate. Our lack of awareness & ability against his read option did us in - again. This year was improved by the end. Hopefully translates to GT's (different) option.
Jackson got lucky with the hesiman usually losing down the stretch is enough to lose the trophy. It's sorta like the year Geno Torretta won it,no other clear favorite
This is something you would never see at Zipp/Steelers/KerryRhodes owned Louisville Rivals.......a thread congratulating a Cats player for winning a big award.

Congratulations to Lamar. I don't think he's even the best QB in his conference, but he is without a doubt, the best athlete in all of college football. On a side note, does anyone else here think Jurich wrote his speech for him? I mean who ever thanks their AD? C'mon man.
I would doubt if Jurich didn't help heck I wouldn't even know where to start with a speech for that award. Although he had something prepared he seemed to most of the time go off script and speak from the heart.
Are you going to pay up on your bet? $1,000 if Lamar got a "sniff" of the Heisman?

And, UK fans will say it did not matter that he won the individual award, because we beat him and our QB outplayed him. The spin is the same, the jerseys just changed.

From the three games I saw Lamar play he was the best athlete on the field! Kudos to the young man, hope he has a injury free successful career.

Kid is very gifted. UK fans would be turning flips on I-75 if UK had a player like him. Easy to let the dislike of UofL to sway our opinions of him, but he deserved the award. Amazing numbers. Video game like.

I could have started a separate thread on what I'm about to say but starting threads about UL on this board has no real value. Your post will illustrate my point clearly enough. There's a huge number of UK fans giving major props to Lamar Jackson. I'm the first one to say he was far and away the most deserving player to win the Heisman trophy this year. What this thread also tells me is how pathetic 99% of the UL fans are. 1)- If a UK player had won there would have been NOTHING positive or congratulatory said on the UL board. 2)- I see a large number of UL fans joining the party on this board spreading their Lamar / Heisman love when their comments would be better served on the UL board. 3)- Take a look at all of the 'likes' from UL posters that usually call UK and it's fans cayuts, LPT, and a number of other vile names on a regular basis. In closing I'll just say that if a UK fan posted the exact same thing on the UL board that you posted they would have been banned for whatever bogus reason they ban almost every UK fan that tries to post on your board. The majority of you guys (UL posters) are classless and you know damn well that I'm right. So maybe you should think about this when Steelers, Zippy, Kerry and the other low lifes rip anything and everything remotely positive said about UK. UK fans are being extremely complimentary to a UL football player. You guys don't do the same to any UK player in any sport. Can you comprehend what I'm saying ?
I totally agree many UK fans have said some nice things about Jackson. However my post you quoted was in direct response to 2Adulterers and nothing else. Now as far as what the mods do on the UofL boards well I have no control over that. As far as what YofL fans call UK on the UofL boards well that works both ways if you look at some of the names UK fans call UofL players and fans on UK boards. I try to be respectful when I post here because I see it as I am a guest in your house. While most have said very nice things about Jackson there are some that have said some not so nice things about UofL players for an example just read the thread about the two players that were shot it's a mix of good and bad but I expect that on a rivals boards. However I do feel that most of those bad comments in that thread would be different if the injuries were more serious. Each side has their real nut cases we have Zipp and you all have 2Adulterers. Personally I am all for giving both of the to the Indiana boards.
You were banned for what you posted regarding Tom Jurich on the Louisville board. The same type of things you post here. You received a warning, then eventually banned when you continued. You know it, I know it, and I have your posts as proof. And you are welcome to copy and paste ANY comment, on any board, where I "rip anything positive about UK". The only thing I ever "rip" anywhere is ignorant posters about their ignorant posts, not their team, coaches or players. Your obsession over you getting banned and me in particular is really unhealthy. But it IS fascinating theatre. Carry on.
