I didn't see anything of the nature, though. Looks like they're putting up the ribbons in the stadium now. Scaffolding is being set up on the east side, and there are some large, black objects on the upper deck of the west side.

They started running bulldozers through arbor acres today, and the first building is already down. I don't expect it's going to take them long before they completely clear out that area and start doing groundwork. I'll get some pictures if someone wants them, but I'm to lazy to do it if no one's interested.

cause you can't see anything at the stadium. You can barely make out some scaffolding, but that's about all there is to see right now. I looked at the black thing son the top of the west side again, and they looked like trash cans. There were also some supports laying on the bottom deck of the east side. Nothing special, and couldn't get a pic.

The fire department was there. They were in their gear and bringing hoses up to the top deck. No clue what was going on.

This is not what the I imagined the stairway to heaven would look like...

I was thinking of more along the lines of seeing how they've progressed (if any) and maybe some close ups of the ribbon boards (my camera has a pretty long zoom).

scaffolding is way too low for the screens..might be repainting the facade of the club level again..I saw them doing that two years ago around this same time while shooting of photos of other things.

Take as many photos as you like..I know I'd love to see them...as I used to post photos here all the time for everyone.

Those are the university apartments on the south side of campus (in between the Shell station on Blackjack and the lower parking lot east of Rice Hall). I had a friend who lived there, they were pretty crummy. Can't say I'm not glad to see they're being torn down.

That is Arbor Acres and it is exactly where you described. I thing you're getting Arbor Acres mixed up with Aiken Village on College View Dr just west of the Hump. For whatever reason, many people confuse the two.

We fit 6 guys, a sheep herding dog, and a cat or twoin there, plus the gigantically fat possum that roamed the little alcove outside the door where we'd temporarily store the trash. He'd just site there like some kind of gray Jabba the Hutt and hiss while we poked him with a stick. The best part was having girls over and thenthe dog and cat would decide to take turns chasing each other up and down the stairs, no matter who was in the way. Did I mention there was one frickin' toilet for 6 people?

Those ribbons are also very narrow. It might be a little hard to read them from the west side. But if it's just going to be ads and stuff, I'm ok with that... they should still make the stadium look that much nicer with light alone.
