Do you believe in the baseball gods? Do you believe talking about, mentioning, or even asking a question about your pitcher's current no-hitter will blow it for him? Do you believe counting outs/strikes is a sin? Do you still do crazy **** on deuces wild?

I still actively participate in crazy shenanigans and avoiding upsetting the baseball "juju" from my days as a player. Not only is it fun, a crazy part of me still believes it to work (or play a part in blowing a game). I feel responsible for pissing off the juju that blew the Braves lead against the Phillies that cost them the 2011 wild card spot... I also feel responsible for blowing a Mississippi Braves pitcher's no hitter by bringing up the subject of a no hitter. We still enjoy doing crazy **** on deuces wild.

Here's your time to talk about crazy baseball superstitions and shenanigans.... GO!

Not hugely superstitious. Rally caps work 75% of the time, and that's scientifically proven***. Dad always taught me to catch the luck on deuces wild when we are batting, shake out the luck when the opposing team is batting (shaking your hat vs shaking it upside down). That's pretty much it for me.
