"From the beginning I wanted the State fan base to be involved and they were," said Adams. "I can't say how long it took to come up with the name. You would have to ask TR from the 'Sixpack' to get the honest answer there."
I like the Restoration Ale well enough. Drink a lot of it at the beach when I'm eating fish 24/7. Think of it as the white wine and Jockamo as the red wine. Never seen Jockamo outside of New Orleans, though I know it's all over Louisiana. First time I had it was at the post race party after the Half Iron Man down there. They were free to participants and I tried to drink them out of it.SallyStansbury said:Recently had the Abita Restoration Ale which I thought was quite good; have you had that one and how does that compare with the Jockamo Pale Ale? Looking back I should have bought a six pack of that too.
Hops are whats up.
The Reb Ale wheaty hoppy beer was peculiar to me. Wouldn't turn down a cold free one, but wouldn't seek it out either.
Where do you purchase the Jockamo ale outside the LA area?
Thanks.</p>
