We're playing checkers. Everyone else is playing chess.

Clemson also finished ahead of us for his services.

Wonder if their losing six or seven players at his position had anything to do with his decision.

WAIT!! Mullenz lost a recruiting battle!! I'm shocked** I mean did you expect anything else.. As long as MTSU or Gardner-Webb is the only ones that want em we are in good shape.. And since it's obvious Mullen will be around for years to come you better get used to it.. Until people finally realize in 2016 we have such a hole to dig out of because we have been last in recruiting for 3 years then he will get fired

So you're angry Mullen didn't get a commitment in November from an out of state player that visited two historically better programs and said they finished higher yet he's still taking his visit here? Apparently you've never followed recruiting before.

I've followed it plenty.. But I guess we should just learn to know our place when it comes to success. Right?

Get ready for it. IT is coming.....and no **** needed.

this may shape up as bad as 2010, with the perception of 2012.

I think there may have been some booster stuff going on early in the process, but, ultimately, our D-line is stacked and we lose no one, and Tennessee just had 450 rushing yards put on them by Auburn and lose 6-7 players at his position.

SO.... would you rather go to Starkville and redshirt, or go to Knoxville and play?

When it comes to MSU, I don't get upset when we lose OUT OF STATE recruits at the following positions: RB, LB, and DL. These are the threw positions the state of MS produces better than any other.

In state recruits at these positions are a different story. We have to get those guys.

UT is basically pulling an A&M move from last year. A lot of people aren't going to make it.

Would have been nice to get him, but plenty of decent DTs still on the board.

Are we still taking his 2-star running mate from AL?

I wrote this guy off weeks ago when he came close and then declined to commit. What's surprising to me is so many people thinking we were still in on him just because we're still listed.
if we don't get the commitment early on out of staters it ain't happening.
