I know it’s tough when your team has a bad year(s), but sometimes you gotta swallow your pride and realize that it’s just not your year. Hopefully, this week and the next 2 will have a humbling effect on you.
As for the refs, they called a good game and let the guys play. Your boy told you wrong about ED holding. And, funny how your running back was The Only One having bad traction or footing. I will give him props, if he was running behind our line or Wrhs he would be awesome but he has no help.

South Point's dance card is full through November 3rd when we play Shelby. Should we win the 2AA West and they the 2AA East on the 12/1, then we shall see the following weekend who really knows how to dance in cleats.
Trust me you dont have to worry about Goldsboro they will be on the hardwood pretty soon....we just like giving the ole cougar Pride a hard time
I don't follow the 2A East that much, especially since SP was 3A until this year, but you can't count anyone out. SP lost 4 of their non-conference games in 2016, and then plowed through the conference and playoffs to win the 3A championships. Just because an old cougar may look toothless doesn't mean they don't have any fight left in them.
Trust me no fight in that cougar.....i can see a South Point vs East Duplin 2AA state title game potentially....East Duplin is a very good team
honestly, Goldsboro is a step up from Spring Creek and other VERY WEAK teams for sure, but theyre nowhere near a top level team. the thing i always notice about a real contender is how hard they look like they hit the weight room, and many of Goldsboro's guys look very thin and unmuscular. they're not like some guys who are small framed, but very "cut". many of their players look like they very rarely see the weight room at all.
