Yep. We look completely baffled at the plate. We can't make contact, and when we do it's popped up.

I don't mind us not hitting the kid. Sometimes you run into a buzzsaw. But, Woodruff's night is incredibly disappointing. Butch Thompson has worked magic since he's set foot on campus, but he hasn't figured out a way to get Woodruff to hit his spots yet. I was hopeful it was because he wasn't healthy last year, but seems like there might be more too it than just that.

Hopefully he gets it corrected next week.

Rough start to season. Next two games are important now. Need to win every home series to be in good position to get a national seed, especially the non conference ones.
