How long did it take you to get used to exhaling against incoming air? First night last night. Got to sleep okay during the ramp up period but when I woke up in the middle of the night and tried to get back to sleep I felt like I was being suffocated. When that happens do you reset it so there is another ramp up?

When I had one I used the over the nose mask which basically makes it very difficult to even try and mouth breathe. Got used to it pretty quickly and didn't have any issues. Then I lost 90 lbs and the apnea disappeared.
Yeah I have weight I could stand to lose. Heading into the active part of the year for me so hopefully I will make some headway.

Any good tips on how you lost the weight?
Nothing complicated. Quit drinking and was really disciplined with my diet. No breakfast, very light lunch and a decent meal in the evening. Cut out all sugar and bread 6 days of the week. Did that for a good 6-8 months really strict until I got most of it off. Now that I'm thinner I actually have the energy to exercise and can add a bit more carbs in the diet. Still do the intermittent fasting style though.

@Moral just liked this because you mentioned being suffocated.

No alcohol really helps, depending on your “intake” prior to removing.
