Damn. Now who is gonna be the B1G coach to pick fights with opposing players, and take the mantle as head douchebag.
My guess is Fran bears that cross pretty naturally.

Or Miles wanted their job....
Hey don't laugh. There's a list of schools banging on Miles' door, because they know all the good players would follow him. Heard it straight from a guy who has a dentist who went to school with Miles' fourth cousin.

don't grieve for Crean ... he is Harbaugh's brother-in-law, I'm sure Michigan will hire him as some sort of assistant/advisor for a million + per year

Heard they (IU) didn't want to host the NIT game they were invited too this week, so they opted to play it on the road instead (@Georgia Tech...they lost). My gut says Crean knew this was coming that he didn't want to hear it from the home crowd one last time...

ok.....this is heresy to say...would Crean be an upgrade over Miles???? I DON'T WANT HIM....NOT SAYING WE SHOULD EVER LOOK AT HIM.....but would he be a better coach?

without question

he has been to a final four and has won the BIG regular season twice

he has 11 more NCAA tourney wins in his short tenure than Nebraska has in the entirety of its existence

he is not good enough for Indiana ... but probably too good for Nebraksa

If NU is going to hire an ex-Big Ten coach who I badly want to punch in the face, I would take Bo Ryan over Crean.

Of course this whole argument becomes moot when the Huskers go to the Sweet Sixteen next year.

IF he can't win consistently at Indiana there is no way in hell he could do it at NU. The few games I've watched him coach, there have always been a couple of WTH are you doing coaching moments for him. Don't think he would be an upgrade at all and he's a jerk sooooo.

Crean is an awful in-game coach whose teams play no defense. We already have one of those, no sense paying millions to buy out one and hire another.
