This quick of an announcement might mean IU has their eyes on someone or several candidates already. Would love the speculation on Alford to be enough to distract UCLA!

This is a delicate moment. Most likely Indiana will screw this up and the 30 years of ineptitude will continue. But there is always a chance that in a stroke of pure luck, like Duke hiring an obscure Army coach with a mediocre record, they'll get someone competent.

Ya I for one am sad to see Crean go. Seriously, he was the best player on our team. As long as Crean was at Indiana, you knew that Indiana wasn't going to be a "regular" top contender.
