beating Indiana is who Flood should be beating. They are the worst program in the Big 10. He won today and it was a must win. Mission accomplished. The win was dramatic and exciting but its not something you should be handing out extension for. But he won so Im not going to knock him tonight

I would say Purdue is a weaker program than Indiana right now. Everything else I agree with. This was an absolute MUST win and we found a way to get it done and keep bowl hopes alive. Props to the coaches and players who kept choppin'. A 5-7 still won't cut it for me though so Flood has to got to take care of business against Army and Maryland with an upset over the rest of the schedule. 6-6 he probably stays.

To the OP - you understand there was a true Frosh playing extensive CB today for the first time due to injury. That too, against a QB that pressured Ohio St. for almost 3 quarters. That puts even more pressure on defense. Again, issues on defense are due to the criminal losers that got booted from team.

Lol, I watched the game with 8 people from other parts of the country, the comment I heard most throughout the game was, "wow, neither of these teams are any good". Beating Indiana 55-52 isn't a program defining moment and it shouldn't be a job saver for Flood either.

That Rutgers fans are going to equate that to winning a championship, lol. Keep in mind MSU beat Purdue 24-21 the week before. Do those close losses make RU and Purdue contenders?

Define good. What other teams are they realistically going to beat besides Purdue and Maryland? It is unlikely they will beat anyone with a winning record, which is what I would define as good.

You realize Sudfield didn't play last week and got knocked out by OSU in the 4th qtr. If he plays many Indiana fans think they are 6-0 going into the Rutgers game. Sudfield is that good. Give credit where credit is due.

not sure what you want me to say. I think long term he is not the answer but that's my personal opinion. Tonight was a win so not going down that road after the win. A comeback win over a program he should be beating does not change that. However as long as he can win the games he is suppose to win and get to 6-6 he will stay. Its about winning

In the thread Indiana is 4-0, you were chiding fans who penciled in Indiana as a win and saying it was a tossup. So which one was it? A tossup or a game we were supposed to win?

Oh, and we don't do well against spread offenses. Deal with it. We could have won the WSU game too, a WSU team that is 4-2.

95 down, abc down, the last of the John Birchers remains after promising to jump ship because of your sexual orientation and Condi chickening out. Can you, or the coach that replaces Flood, say something nice about Muslims or Mexicans...that should just about it do it. He might be on 3 strikes, assuming he can count to 3. He can't scroll or read English or handle other basic functions of daily living, so make sure it is very clear and plain, made for simpletons.
