I am one of those people who did not renew my 3rd row seats. While it’s nice that Seton Hall is doing well, it’s still not the same. The bond between team and school is not there. In the end, each one of these players are not Seton Hall. Most of the players will be gone. A new crop of mercenaries will come in. No longer will you have legendary Pirates that you will follow forever like Jerry Walker, Terry Dehere, Sha, or Mamu.Dan
Any chance of selling out Pru for Creighton/ Would be amazing after last year for 3 straight sell outs in Newark. Sad for those who did not renew their season TKTs. I'm sure some lucky souls picked up some good seats
I hope that players that are still eligible, like Naj, Budd, Fisher and others will see that coaching and the winning is working for them. That the NIL distraction is not a problem and that they are enjoying playing for SHU. Hopefully Sha will bring in a new additional crop of players who will continue to elevate our game.I am one of those people who did not renew my 3rd row seats. Nothing may ever be as good as Terry and Jerry, or richie and walter. Or IW AD KCI am one of those people who did not renew my 3rd row seats. I think Simpkins does. Parker and Williams too?Just an FYI, Fisher has no more eligibility.
Thats fine . I for one root for the name on front of jersey not the back. Ill renew my tickets till either the program disbands or I croak whichever comes first..I am one of those people who did not renew my 3rd row seats. My Paterson crew will be there in full force !!!I will be there along with 6 family members so that should help fill up the place.
Exactly, the only year that counts is this year. There will be a very nice size crowd at the Creighton game.Parker, Budd, Simpkins, Hines, Williams. Need all of them back. But still a long way to go this year!
This is where I am too. I hate what’s happened but it’s not going back.Thats fine . I for one root for the name on front of jersey not the back. Ill renew my tickets till either the program disbands or I croak whichever comes first..

They are our mercenaries, playing hard, playing by the screwed up new rules, getting more positive references for SHU, representing us well. This! Mercenaries is exactly what they are. This is now my third season in a row without tickets (after 20+ with tickets). At the time, I felt it was right but there was some doubt that I might regret it. It ended up being a good decision, I don't regret it for one second.

Keep delivering your special kind of joy to this Board.I don't believe so. I can watch a game when I choose to do so and don't have to plan a schedule around schlepping to Newark. When you're not invested as you used to be, it's perfect.
One thing is the BlueJays don’t travel well to NJ
But their 3-Point usually does. Lol
Yup, Cowgirl fans only show up when they’re winning.According to Ticketmaster, SHU/Creighton tix are going for more than Giants/Cowboys
There's somewhere in the country that can't get a Peacock subscription? No official word yet. The fact that the game is on Peacock helps as many fans don't have access. Student participation will probably be light that's why the school is discounting tickets.
This is a very difficult matchup for the Pirates. They seldom play well against McDermott's teams. Willard used to always say the most difficult coach to prepare for was not Jay Wright but McDermott.
Ahhh, they got access, they just won't throw the money down.Getting one and paying for one, even for a month or two. isn't a problem. But only hardcore fans would do that and most will be at the game.
I subscribed last November 30 on a 1-year-for-$19.99 deal, which was a major bargain. This Past October, I finally cut the cord in favor of YouTube TV and let Peacock lapse on Nov. 30, since Peacock is already ingested by YouTube TV. I get it for “free” now, which is great.Getting one and paying for one, even for a month or two. isn't a problem. But only hardcore fans would do that and most will be at the game.
When we play ru, i always hate hearing the r u chant, cause it means we are losing and cause i wish we had some catchy cheers. SHU, rhymes with blue and we have never got past lets go seton hall clap clap clapclapclap. It's been good to see the crowds at The Rock against Rutgers and Villanova. Granted those two always draw well, but the crowds were not buoyed by those other fans. I thought the % of SHU fans for those games was even higher than it typically.
The program is back to playing like a Top 40 to 50 this year, we're in line for an NCAA bid as long as we take care of business, so hopefully the fans support and make it a good experience after last year's mess.
Still think Sunday at 12 on a football day will keep attendance down. Hope to be wrong.
Exactly what I did. Saved over $150/month cutting off cable too.I subscribed last November 30 on a 1-year-for-$19.99 deal, which was a major bargain. I also didn't renew for the same reason, and I regret it. I can't stay away, so I am constantly looking for tickets. I'll end up spending more money on fewer games this year. I wish they would go back to the old transfer portal rules.I am one of those people who did not renew my 3rd row seats. While it’s nice that Seton Hall is doing well, it’s still not the same. Normally I would agree with you…but I don’t know ANY Giant or Jet (if which I am one, and a season season ticket holder) fans who are locked in to watching their team this week. It's been good to see the crowds at The Rock against Rutgers and Villanova. Granted those two always draw well, but the crowds were not buoyed by those other fans. I thought the % of SHU fans for those games was even higher than it typically.
