Idk if Pope trusts Garrison at the 4. BG would have to develop his shot a lot more. I’ll tell you I’d love BG at the 4 for defense personally. I’m assuming BG transfers unless Pope will play BG as a 4

I’d say that is likely. Things can change, so I wouldn’t be shocked I guess. There is another guy we are pushing hard for that could fill that spot though.
Garrison isn't athletic enough and isn't good enough from 3 to play the 4 in Pope's offense. I'm guessing this means they expect him to leave.....but all is chaos right now, so who knows.
We will find out soon! Branham is pretty solid.
BG is solid, he can score and had many good games. I wouldn’t mind him returning just hope he improves defense and rebounding.

IMHO, he’s the best player in the transfer portal. I know Coach Pope is pushing hard for this kid.
The biggest obstacle is the NBA Draft. He has been projected at the end of the 1st round to top of the 2nd. So whoever gets him will have to wait until after the NBA draft.

Very excited about this potential signing. Averaged 2.6 bpg as a FRESHMAN. The 5.2 rpg will only get better.

I trust Pope and staff, but Folgueiras at PF seems a bit concerning from a defensive standpoint. He would offer essentially zero rim protection.
Now, if Pope gets Folgueiras as backup PF and can somehow also land PF Yaxel Lundeborg...that would be insanely good.
Expect the fouls to go up to 3 thanks to SEC refs...
