New report out today on detection of CTE in living football players (maybe) if the new method is reliable, this is going to have an impact. The most telling finding to me was the backup quarterback who showed CTE - guy played in like 10 pro games his whole career. Suggests he developed the damage during college/high school.

What happens if they test college players and find tau build up, what school is going to keep sanctioning the sport? High school? Makes me wonder if we'll be talking about pro or college football at all in a decade or so. Any of our lawyers have an opinion on what it would mean if this measure works out in terms of a school's exposure for lawsuits?
