What would be your team's highlight of the season be? I know it's not making it into a division series, or league championship series....

Now now. Let's keep it to the topic at hand.

That would be the Cubs.

Suicide watch.

I'm glad you are still with us. Winking

You're right, we wouldn't want to talk about the team that was out of the playoff race in May. Or the one who couldn't get past the Astros. Let's do talk about the team that had the third best record in baseball, the biggest turnaround from one season to another in 2015 and the team that took down the two teams that had the two best records in baseball on the way to the NLCS.

Let's talk about them having the potential Cy Young winner and no less than four rookies starting on a regular basis. They may not make the playoffs every year, because baseball, but there's literally no one who can claim the team doesn't have a ton of talent and I had a hell of a lot of fun watching them this year. What else would you like to talk about?

You sound extremely butthurt and are definitely taking the sweep hard.

Petty bullishIt bickering aside, those of us who are real cubs fans know that this comes with the territory. I have a 45 year allegiance to this team. I expect them to break my heart. Nonetheless an afternoon at Wrigley is one of the best experiences in life, win or loose. The only nuance to this season is that we are all saying "wait til next year" a lot later than usual.
