I realize Kershaw is great, but this lovefest by the announcers tonight is ridiculous. Before this game is over, Kershaw will have walked on water, turned water into wine, and healed lepers. Ridiculous.

the ball Baez hit is a home run 67% of the time and a double 90%...just some bad luck ...need to win 2/3 in LA or the season is over....I do not get how the Dodgers are any good ...that lineup is garbage and after Kershaw its a dumpster fire of payroll mistakes

Roberts has done a nice job. He is unconventional and it has worked. If hill is good, the dodgers have a shot at this series. If not, the Cubs will close it out in 5/6.

the cubs have to hit. if they hit, they win. if they don't, it's basically a toss up. so far, they have not hit and that's why every playoff game has gone to the wire.

I'll be interested to see if they bench Russell, move Baez to SS, and put Contreras in LF or if they even give Soler a start. Hell, they may even run Almora out there against LHP, esp with the big OF that Dodger Stadium has.

Yeah. The bats are silent. Rizzo is a big problem. He needs to get going for them to have a shot.

Read an article today where Maddon dropped a " we are a young team". Almost sounded like he was throwing in the towel. Surprising

Dodger Stadium doesn't have that big of an outfield. It's a pitchers' park because the ball doesn't carry - not because the OF is huge.

Cubs had 4 balls that were mere feet from being home runs, if one of those leaves the yard then the talk is very different. That being said, Kershaw is a nightmare for the cubs because they can't run the count deep on him, he throws too many strikes and has good enough stuff to get them looking.

I don't think it's huge, but the alleys do seem quite a bit bigger. I think it's because down the line is pretty short, so it makes it seem bigger. shrug.

It is a "big" park in terms of how difficult it is to hit the ball out, especially at night, but not really as far as playing the OF is concerned. You can get by with pretty slow-footed OFs in Dodger Stadium.
