This is fascinating if true, and the LAPD is posting it so I assume it is. The guy just arrested for starting the Pacific Palisades fire set a different fire in the Pacific Palisades on Jan 1, which was supposedly extinguished by LA Fire. The story now is it wasn't, and roared backed into life on Jan 7 when the devastating fire spread.

The guy sounds like a nut job but with drought and high winds (and an empty reservoir), how do they not make sure the fire is out?

The LA Fire Department got terrible reviews on how they handled this and the other fires around LA that night. It is incomprehenisble that they could be so incompetent. Smokey the Bear would not approve.

It is. Perhaps the headline would have been more accurate with “Former Palisades Resident (California Man)”. Also this is another fire that stayed burning with embers unseen because of the thick floor…no maintenance of vegetation.

I haven’t seen dtrain comment on “Maryland Man” here. He wanted due process. When will there be enough due process with this gang banging, human trafficking, crap stain that doesn’t belong in the US? 20 orders now? When can Congress impeach these judges? It only takes a majority vote in the House.

But stonedaxe says Trump is the authoritarian. Who should we believe?

Your question alone shows you are hopeless. RW propaganda that Senators were spied on. In reality, FBI followed procedure to get permission to search tower ping records to determine whether Senators were having calls with Trump during insurrection. Definitely warranted as a few were discovered having snuck false electors certificates into the Capitol, Johnson and Kelly for two.

Yes, yes, yes!

Without the meeting of Mary Anne's future to be Parents at English Class for their US Citizenship classes in Syracuse, there would be NO Mary Anne.

Which would suck big time !

Her Dad was the second oldest Brother in his family. His family had just enough money for 1 boat ticket to the USA.
The oldest Brother had a girl friend he didn't want to leave in Germany, so the second oldest wen (Her eventual Dad.)

The oldest Brother was killed at Stalingrad !

Chicago Pastor Sues Trump Admin After Allegedly Being Shot by ICE Agents - Newsweek https://share.google/j8QqXDuHpSKUEph9J

Watched the video. Pastor gets shot in the head with a pepper ball while peacefully protesting. I am sure you Trump cultists think that it is perfectly acceptable.

The vegetation is the same vegetation that they always deal with. They should know if it is smoldering down in the roots for 7 days before the big Pacific Palisades fire broke out. (the original fire was only 8 acres.) There is no excuse, it is fire fighting 101. From the DEI fire chief all the way down the line, this is incompetence which killed 12 people and ruined countless lives.

Gavin Newsome says. "Today’s arrest of 29-year-old Florida resident Jonathan Rinderknecht marks an important step toward uncovering how the horrific Palisades Fire began and bringing closure to the thousands of Californians whose lives were upended."

Where is the accountability for his fire department's total failure? Accountability for the reservoir being dry? Accountability for lots of fire fighting equipment being unavailable because of maintenance? Accountability because they did not use a simple heat sensing device to sweep the 8 acres to look for hot spots? California is a hot mess and their governor wants to bring his expertise to the white house.

Yeah you like it if you want the pedophile files to remain hidden by Trump Administration.

You did vote for Pedo Pete, did you not? Like this woman will make a difference, c'mon Stone! Be real.

Durbin hid them, Bondi said she had them all. If they exist and ever get released, it will be around the year 2080.

Collateral damage Jeffy. Perhaps if your brain showed any signs of human life, you would be upset that over the last decade 32,000 people in Chicago have been shot with REAL bullets and some 6000 killed. That is pretty much equal to the number of casualties at Chickamauga on 19-20 September 1863 - the second deadliest battle of the American Civil War.

If you valued Urban lives (you don't), you would support Trump's efforts to provide aid to the city of Chicago and state of Illinois.

In fairness, the firefighters didn't have enough water to completely ensure that the contained fired was gone for good. Should they use it all, they may not have had enough for the next arsonist. The state government just diverting so many of their vast resources to leftist causes instead of basics needed by everyone is the real problem.

Do agree the firefighters have some responsibility, but tough job without all of the tools.

Keep trying to justify authoritarian behavior by Trump. It is a fail.

Once again, Jeff laughs at 32000 people shot and 6000 murdered. A real sicko! But, he is here to tell us about some radical lefty getting a rubber bullet to the head.

Jeff never did post when the single digit children were killed by stray bullets. Why - because he doesn't give a ****. Honestly Jeff - you are a real piece of crap.

Chicago shooting: 7-year-old boy killed by stray bullet in his Humboldt Park home on Potomac, police say - ABC7 Los Angeles

Chicago shooting: Jai'mani Amir Rivera, shot at Oakley Square Apartments on West Jackson Boulevard on Near West Side, remembered - ABC7 Chicago

There are 120 fewer murders in Chicago this year than last. The total so far is 331. The average over the last decade is 600 murders per year. The murder rate has gone down substantially in 2025 yet Trump is sending in the National Guard. Keep justifying the behavior of a president who tramples over the rule of law every day.

There isn’t anything authoritarian about it. Illegals are here illegally (breaking the law) and the ones they are going after are mostly criminals. That is what “Immigration and Customs Enforcement” is for. We, not delusionals, voted to get them out of here.
Even your new party has many members wanting them gone. If you want to hang out with “protestors” who are interfering with ICE operations, you have the opportunity to get tear gassed. BTW, you very clearly have never went paintballing. The gas balls are never going to be 100% accurate. They aren’t rifles.

@tjfleck6 you just have to look at my post with Patel and Jack Smith spying on 8 Senators (Coons, a Democrat, is even bothered by it) and then we add in the Quiet Skies (Trump Admin got rid of it), which spied on Tulsi Gabbard. Jeff laughed. He licks authoritarianism into his ears as long as it’s anti-Trump/anti-Republican.

ICE in Chicago will not reduce the crime which is primarily in the gang neighborhoods. Crime is a Bogus excuse

If you guys don't see it as authoritarian you are authoritarian lovers, and not very much in favor of American values and our Constitution. Remember when it was ONLY THE CRIMINALS he claimed to be going after, then it was the most violent. All lies. ICE are military WANNABES that heed armor and vests and automatic weapons to arrest old people, mothers and children, All Americans should be bothered by that.

Trump is sending in the NG for protection of ICE since your POS party doesn’t mind calling for their shooting
