He had 300 against Hickory too.

It's a great post MC. Against us, Newton-Conover will be tough. Darn, we need a win. Lincolnton and Maiden have tough matchups Friday night.
If the Newton-Conover QB threw for 300 yards against Hickory I don't know what he might do against us. I know rivalry games are different, but this is the Hickory team that mauled East Lincoln to the tune of 21 points, last Friday.

Lincolnton vs Newton has been a great game for the last few years with Lincolnton finding ways to win.

If it was announced that Lincolnton would be playing Appalachian State, this week, I would say something outrageous (Don't want to use the word stupid because it might stick to me) such as, "Well, we're going to have to leave it all on the field, but if we do, I'll go with the Wolves by 1.

Hey, Congrats on doing well in the SMC. Isn't that the fellers over in Graham and Clay Counties, etc. How in the world did you get over there. Anyway, I'm glad for you.

*BTW, if this was Ancient Israel and you called me a homer, people would think I was nearly 60 gallons of wine. They'd be ready to dance.

This season seems to be going by quicker than usual. We’ll be watching them dribble balls sooner than we think. I won’t be, girls playoff game at EB if they hold up I’ll watch that but that’s it lol.

Bandys and EB- if we wasn’t so down with injuries I’d side with EB. No way we stand up to a team like bandys with our power back not running the ball or KJ busting out for those long ones and Fraley won’t be in either. Some other injuries going on as well. Bandys by 21 but hoping for the upset.

Bunker Hill and West Caldwell- don’t be too hard on em, they’ll be dunking on em this winter even harder. BH by whatever

Newton and Lincolnton- unpredictable one. Love it!! If Newtons QB gets time to throw, could get itchy. I’ll go with Newton in a thriller by 7

Just some rough stats I'll looked at on MaxPreps. East burke was averaging 380 yards rushing a game before Friday night. Maiden held them to 195 yards with 92 coming off one play where def made wrong shift.

Bandys over EB but this game will not be a good game. I'm still not sold on Bandys being a top-tier team as they proved that Friday vs. WL that only ran the ball. They will win Friday but only because sounds like EB will be missing quite a few players
Bunker Hill over WC. Sounds and looks like the Bears are gaining strength for one of playoff top seeds.
Lincolnton over NC. NC won big vs. WC but that is not an impressive win. Beat Lincolnton and I'll pick NC next time.
WL over Maiden. I'm not sold on Maiden being a dominate team either. They have only played 1 solid team this year and was smashed. WL is a good, well-coached team that will hit you and keep hitting you. Athletes don't always like to be hit. IDK. Hope its a great game and probably can go wither way. WL advantage at home.

AMD, I put this on week 6 because you'd be more likely to see it. Six to seven hundred thousand dollar homes ? Where do you live, in East Lincoln. Son, I've met you, you're like me, a working class man. When guys like us are in neighborhoods where the homes cost over half a million dollars we are what's referred to as persona non grata. They have something called the home owners association, too, and they always give you the devil about one thing or the other. The places I always lived, we never had such problems. If any of them asks what you do for a living tell them you're an atomic scientist and you have to wear that beard to reduce radiation exposure to the thyroid. Just trying to help, here.

West Caldwell at Bunker Hill: I would guess the Bears will pull their first team after halftime to give younger players some experience and to keep impact players healthy for the following week against West Lincoln. BH by 38.

Bandys at East Burke: From what I gathered from East Burke posters, the Cavaliers have been hit hard by the injury bug. Due to this I would have to go with Bandys by 10.

Maiden at West Lincoln: Oh my, this could be something to see. From everything I heard before the season began, WL would be down, this year. It doesn't look like it to me. Maiden seems to find a way, even though they're playing at the corner of NC 27 and State Road 1002 (North of the intersection it's called Cat Square Road), and that should let you know it's in West Lincoln. Going with the Blue Devils by a single point.

Lincolnton at Newton-Conover: I think our teams are similar in the way of speed and otherwise. It's certainly a game we could lose. Honestly, I don't know, so in those cases I go with the Wolves. I go with them even if I do know. Lincolnton by 1

Thought about saying it’s a completion rate of better than 60% but didn’t want to over do it. It’s good the Blue Devils have a passing game. East Burke is a hard team to run against and West Lincoln will be, too.

The scores of the games compared to last year are not much different besides watauga game. And even that game this year we scored more pts and had more yards than last year game.
