Seems West Lincoln is playing the best ball right now . I wished they would play East Lincoln instead of Cherryville or Foard. Bunker is also playing well and scoring a lot of points . While Maiden is the favorite to win, they aren’t playing to the standard set from last season. Lincolnton has shown potential against a hard non conference schedule but they appear to be in a new offense. Once it clicks things might change . East Burke seems tough going by their scores. And Newton is the unknown team, they played a good Hickory team close but got shut out by Polk county. I see Bandys as a team that might come up a surprise some folks once they get their passing game improved. West Caldwell is scrappy but do they have the mental toughness to play solid for 4 quarters

Perfect synopsis.

Maiden isn't down...but we're sloppy and big headed...which is worse than down in my opinion. The rest of the conference is up...this will make for interesting matchups and games.

We're going to get teams best games...and they're better than they were last year...we come out arrogant and sloppy we lose to half the conference and roll into the playoffs #28 seed

I hope you are right about bandys but it looks like a struggle right now. A real big struggle to do anything successful. They were missing their best player against Foard. Assuming he will be back against South this Friday.

West Lincoln has def come a long way. I can remember not far back being a school that other schools scheduled them for homecomings. Still a far cry from tying overall series against Lincolnton. Did they pick up a coach that turns programs upside down in a good way like Wataugas coach? Are they small, Avg, large corn fed looking boys that push the piles? What’s their strengths?

East Burke from my understanding has a coach that is really good in that he gets the best outta kids from the heart and keeps them with a winning attitude and motivated win or lose plus more fit stronger and ready. You can def tell that last part when you see them on defense. Very under ranked IMO coming into the season. Prob because they lost some size and speed from last year the raters figured they’d have an even harder time being smaller and put them down with West Caldwell in the preseason standings. The front 3 on D look huskey and push Olines back just looking at the 1st 2 games. A smaller but scrappier EB team this year that plays more ready and so far aside from Maiden, every conf game for EB is winnable(well…WL slim chance, illl judge that one after the maiden game).

Newton, I don’t know bout them. I’m always hearing bout the athletes they got but seems like you don’t know what Newton team might show up. They got a couple track stars on that team from my understanding so not short in abilities this year for sure.

That’s bout all I got as far as what I know or might know bout CVAC teams. My research has been slack this year as far as looking deep in every team.
