Taken under advisement. About the best you can hope for is probation. Give us time to review your case. We will get back with you.No...please! I'm a student, I can't follow them EVERYWHERE. Some of us have to go to school in 2 weeks![]()

The executive board has voted to show Mr. Blackkight_Pride some compassion. In return, we expect to see a 3.5 GPA or better this year.

I graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1976, when we went 10-0 in the regular season playing at the Group AAA level, which at the time was the group of the largest high schools in Virginia.
It's been 41 seasons since then, and I think CHS has had 2 good football teams in those 41 seasons. And that's while playing at a lower classification.
Not that many people go out for football at CHS. When a really good player, someone with possible future NFL potential, is produced by the program, they often are not very good academically, and they are not able to stay at their original college.
In CHS's first 3 years, they still played their football games on the old Lane High School field. Since Lane closed up and CHS built their football stadium, to my knowledge they have never filled the stadium for a game in it's 39-year history!
Did you play any sports for CHS? Or did you have a relative who did?
.
You might be the only football fan that CHS has. I moved from Charlottesville when I got married. I think it would help if CHS passed the ball a lot. Like, on every play. The three-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust style works when you're bigger and stronger at every position, but they never are. And now, with the CTE scandal, will Charlottesville have enough players to even field a team this year?
Lol to his defense he said he moved from Charlottesville when he got married. This thread looks to be the first heated thread of the yearSo which is it you graduated from CHS or you moved to Charlottesville when you go married. Do we have another Shaunti stirring up trouble.

If you moved away, how do you know how many people go out for football or show up at the games? You need to go troll somewhere else.I graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1976, when we went 10-0 in the regular season playing at the Group AAA level, which at the time was the group of the largest high schools in Virginia.

DSH just made me laugh out loud
I am not the only CHS football fan I can assure you that. I agree our football spirit might be a lot lower than many other schools, but you get a home football game against a good team our stadium is gonna be packed. I think since we've been so bad recently, it's harder to get people to come. Hopefully since we made the playoff last year and got a home playoff game things will pick up this year. Just wait for our first home game this year vs James Monroe, I guarantee our field is gonna be packed.
Did anybody ever say what happened in the scrimmage? Really? No one knows?

1-1 vs Riverbend 1's
2-1 vs Colgan 1's
0-1 vs Riverbend 2's
Although we both scored once, I'd say Riverbend got the best of us from a yards gained perspective. We did get two INT's, one in the endzone that stalled a drive. They've got a very good team, physical up front on both sides and with pair of physical RBs and two very good WRs. Best player on team was TE-OLB #44, was told he's got a Richmond offer. Long physical and held his edge on defense like a champ. One of the RBs/LB has an ODU offer. Their QB was pretty solid as well. Their big rival is Massaponax, who also runs triple, which is why they wanted to scrimmage us. They were pretty well prepared for what we do and we kept it very vanilla on both sides.
Colgan has a WR(#8) that is the real deal. RB #13 is very elusive runner and a QB that has a cannon. We played a lot better on both sides in the second game, partially because the butterflies were gone and partially because Riverbend was a little better than Colgan IMO.
Overall I think we made plenty of mistakes, had some flashes of greatness and had some guys stock fall and others stock rise. As with most scrimmages, we learned a lot about ourselves, made a few position changes and we'll see how much progress we've made tomorrow at 6 pm VS Waynesboro.
