Thank you kind sir, it's been a long, hard slog. Why it seems like only yesterday I was but a low-triple-digit-post-count newb bitching about Tubby and Saul and ball-line defense
Best thing about Sonic is the tater tots and the orange cream slushes. Except the one in Middletown usually undercooks the tots. Even after i order them extra freakin' crispy and further state that i am in no particular hurry and am willing to wait until they are crispy and delicious.

Our's always screws up wifey's orange limeaid (uhhhhh, you make it like a regular limeaid except substitute orange flavoring for lime flavoring). Now it's partly wifey's fault cause she can never order anything straight off the menu, but, touch me, how touching hard is it to squirt orange flavoring into a touching cup of ice slush instead of orange AND lime?
Disclaimer: While I don't like tater tots, I fully understand and appreciate everyone else's desire to eat reconstituted potato product in a cylindrical form. that being said.
I'm burning the next Sonic who gives me tots instead of fries, to the MF-ing ground.
On a related note: Someday I'm going to be rich by inventing the following two things ...
1) A way to keep french fries crispy when bringing home take out.
B) Play-dough that come to you blank with a series of color capsules to give it the hue you want. Then when it's all mixed in with another color or twelve, you use yet another capsule to return it to the blank color. Seems doable, but I can't think of any way to create a capsule that wouldn't look delicious to children and/or isn't poisonous.

Norm, grats. That's awesome. By the way, find a Parrish/church/synagogue/mosque that pays a portion of daycare or has daycare. Our son went to the prestigious all girls school (they have coed preschool), but now a member of another school where our place of worship pays for a hefty chunk. Has just as good of ratings.

Came out of bathroom to find my 18 month old laying on the carpet with catering hall's staff, wife and 10 moms consoling him. He got clobbered in the head with an out swinging kitchen door. Supposedly it disrupted/stopped the whole program (400 people in attendance)... Little dude looked like a Klingon with a magnificent vertical lump on his forehead. He's tough as nails and only cried for a little bit. In any case, no rest for the weary.

Mav's on TKA, and likely other PED's, plus he cheated to get to 16k. I know this is The D and all, but I can't respect that. Dude can't even hit a curve ball. He can keep his 16k posts, but he's not getting in the D Hall of Fame.

I could eat potato oles (properly cooked and seasoned) all day every day. Every. Single. Meal.
Say that reminds me, the Taco Johns franchise contract ran out in Frankfort and is now called something else. They still have the Ole's but they just aren't quite the same. Mav, is TJ's still there in Chief Padukeville?

growing up it was a major treat to get these. Absolute best! Never had much as kid growing up (had what we needed) but sometimes my pop would get us one when we would go to the country.

300 kids sick with a stomach virus at Whitesville Elementary School. ONE of them must attend my church. The school district disinfected the entire school over the weekend. I've been sleeping like a baby again...up for two hours, sleep for two hours. Think I'll stay home again tomorrow. Hell, I have 785 hours of sick time, might as well use them.

Man I had my Test Board Post Padding Scam down to a SCIENCE -- had the countdown timer on the iPhone set to 1 minute and as soon as a post would go thru I'd start the timer, at about 4 seconds I'd hit either "post" or "confirm resubmission" and VOILA!, another would be added in exactly 1 minute. I'm pretty sure I had like 30 consecutive posts each one minute or so apart

I've prolly eaten at Taco John's 3 times in my life. There has been at least one in Paducah for 30 years. Last time was about a month ago. Wife orders me a couple of Tacos and each of them has about a teaspoon of meat in the shell. Really. They used to sponsor one heck of a softball team in the Stuart Nelson ASA slow pitch league back in the 80s.

Oles man...it's all about the oles. Nobody goes to TJ's for the tacos. Sure you might order a taco while you're there. But the oles are what drew you. Even the drunk and high people who go to TJ's on Soft Shell Saturday for the cheap tacos are really there because their high azz is craving some oles.

Kooky - I've been reading about your situation and I think the real solution is: you need a good realtor. Try to spin this lack of water thing as an environmental feature. Play up the water conservation bit. Maybe he house would also appeal to those that don't want government intervention in their lives. You know, they wouldn't have to drink the fluoridated water.
Yesterday, I had a hot young marketing rep come into my office. Smoking hot. Offered her a bottled water. She took it. When she left, she forgot to taker her unfinished bottled water with her. So in my office I found myself licking the bottle edge from where she drank from.
