He's lucky he didn't lost his scholarship. These are grown men. You reap what you sow. I would have sent him to the showers. That might have cost his team.
He ran for it on a 4th down that was like 4th and 15 or something instead of punting the ball. The path looked clear so I think it was a spur of the moment decision, didn't look like the punt was going to get blocked or anything. It wasn't called for by Dabo and it put UNC around Clemson's 30 and UNC went on to score a TD and take the lead.
right leg punter wanted to punt to the right and faced heavy pressure, so had to make a split second decision and he ran left to what looked good to him, it was clearly a bonehead play and dabo chewed him out as he exited the field, but after NC scored he went back to the kid, sitting on the bench by himself and went off again, even kirk said ok enough already someone needs to go up to the kid and say lets look forward. what kills me is dabo is a preaching coach, well actions, not words dabo.....oh and by the way dabo STFU

Dabo lost his cool and behaved like a jerk. Simple as. Got called out on his behaviour both in the play by play booth and at halftime. Not a proud moment for Clemson.
They are on the verge of winning the ACC championship and going to the Final 4 . Surely , it's 'not a proud moment' . Hopefully Rutgers can at least approach one of these not proud moments in my lifetime .
