He's about what I expected him to be as a passer. He's got a great arm, but I don't see ever being an elite passer. He is better than he showed today though.

Hard to get in rhythm when you come out guns blazing only to be pulled next series... and so forth.

I agree, but I think that they just had a good secondary. He did a good job of looking people off on intermediate routes.

If I recall correctly, he had his outlet receiver just waiting on a couple of occasions and instead tried somebody covered up over the middle. I'm no football guru, but it seemed like he was forcing it.

I agree with joaey121. He took what there defense gave him. Looked like he went to 2nd and 3rd option most times when 1 was covered. He will only get better guys. Uab secondary showed good closing speed. Dak did fine.

Well if u think uab just had a good secondary what do u think lsu has? We have got to play a entire game with the ones to get in rythm before lsu

Stop this talk right now. USA is next. Fans, players, coaching staff, had penciled in 3 W's before the Night at Red Stick. We see where that got us today in the first half.

Dak did miss on a few. He was spot on with others, but receivers dropped them. I'll admit they had great coverage. However, I think All of SPS agrees that he couldn't get into a rhythm after scoring in 3 plays only to be benched.

LSU has more talent, no doubt. But their coaches had them well prepared for what State was going to do. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been preparing for this game for a while now.

Yes lsu has more talent. I also think we will open things up more however play wise to keep them more honest. I never said we would torch lsu. I do believe we will score on them if dak gets in a solid rhythm. I'm sure uab had us penciled on schedule for their big game. For lsu it's just another conference game. My whole point was let's not jump ship just yet guys.

He was doing a good job of looking to one side of the field and then switching to the other. The problem is: once he goes opposite field he stares down one guy...

Unfortunately, it won't be "another" conference game because it will be LSU's first SEC game after two cupcake games. Not to mention it will be at night and in Tiger Stadium. As much as we'd all wish it to not be the case, we are going to get their A-game just like we always do.
