Dak lovers, may want to wait until he does something vs. LSU......

.....before annointing him the savior.

Remember, the big thing held against Mullen is that he hasn't beaten teams that were better than us. Well, Prescott hasn't proved anything vs. teams that are better than us. If he shows out vs. LSU, I'm a believer.

The MSU QB curse continues. Rinse, repeat. We'll all be calling for that guy from Georgia when Dak is a Sr., book it.

17 that. Dak played a great game. I don't care who is out there, as long as they have swagger and put us in position to win. If tyler/dak/williams/walk-on guy goes off against LSU and we win, I am happy. Today is Dak's day, give it to him.

Don't be dumb just because you're too prideful to admit you were wrong on the QB debate. You want to tell us "wait until Dak proves something against a good team"...well we're still waiting on Tyler to do the same thing.

Dak has earned the starting job, and he gives our offense a different dimension. It's not Tr's fault, but he just isn't, and never will be, the best fit at QB in a Mullen offense.

So if Dak doesn't play great against LSU, does that make TR a better QB for us in this system? No.

We'll wait all right. Probably until halfway through the third quarter when we're down a lot to nothing.

Look you numb-skulls. "Mullen Offense" is the best in football. Dak is a "Mullen Offense" QB. McCarron nor the Manning Boys ... Tyler can't run "Mullen Offense." Damn, I can't believe Saban has not learned and deployed "Mullen Offense."

In the grand scheme, what did today show us about who we might beat now that we were worried about before? How do we get to 6 wins?

He's not a great passer. He misses some curl routes and other short to medium throws because he throws a 90mph fastball every time. He'll learn, but I expect that to show up against LSU.

Might not matter if TR takes most of the snaps anyway.

I'm sure you being a believer matters to anyone. And when Dak walked off the field against Auburn State was ahead. Period. This team plays with twice the fire and passion with Dak. No disrespect to Tyler he's a talented guy. But Dak is a winner and is getting better every game. Add the drops that hit receivers in the hands to his stats his passing stats would be phenomenal. And compare turnovers. Daks just better for this situation. Haters like you are the reason these players start accepting a losing tradition.

You need a snickers bar for breakfast. I see nothing wrong with Dak except more experience. I like his toughness and leadership, future looks good at Msu.

It does seem we have fans pulling for dak or TR instead of just miss state

That is true. I hope we win no matter who is in there. But it does seem hard to believe Tyler would get the nod over Dak considering how little he has played this year and how well Dak has played. Maybe both can contribute and get us a win.

No doubt. I think he'll be great over his next two years. But he's still making mistakes that younger players make. Either way, have to like what you see.

That wasn't my point. My point is that I don't know that, RIGHT NOW, he's more qualified to QB MSU against top tier competition anymore than Russell. We'll know for sure Saturday, if Mullen does the right thing.

I scrolled through the entire front page of posts

and I can't find the words "Hud" or "Hudspeth." What the 17? They were in every thread Friday.

Exactly. Dak was the 1st QB Mullen recruited. Croom recruited Russell.
Mullen just didn't give Russell a reason to go anywhere else.
