Assuming all of this is true and Harris deals with this daily, he plans to take it out on UK's defenders, none of whom are included in the grouping that you say have made it "personal." If I was a UK defender, I would take THAT personally.

Totally different context.

Of course you are correct. The players have their own motivation.

I see it as:

Meanie UK fan trashing Harris
Harris saying he will whip UK team to get back at meanie UK fan

Juvenile, but likely plausible scenario.

I agree with your interpretation. Kind of like me saying a guy in the checkout line at Kroger who reads and likes brianpoe on CI was a real *** to my wife, so I am going to kick brianpoe's arse. I think you might take that personally.

Or there a few people on social media he is going back and forth with...?

Stop trying to make it more than it is.

And yes, I probably am right...

I recall him making fun of the program not long ago as the reason he chose Bama. How was that only for the people that bashed him? I would never wish him any harm, but my "good lucks" will be for the players on the team I cheer for.

looks like you havent

go check their social media pages. probably something on their twitter, facebook, or instagram.

I don't facebook, twitter or instagram, the kid can go where he wants to go, but he needs to just play ball, like someone has told him, and quit the kid stuff with the fans that did bash him, most of the fans wish him well and the others don't matter. Having a player that is a Kentucky native and one everyone wanted saying this is personal, kind of pisses people off.

He sent a pic of the championship trophy to his followers - didnt make fun of UK, but definitely a jab at the followers that had been giving him a hard time.

After qualifying that you dont do social media simply explains why you dont get it.

This is the new age of communication. It causes lots of issues but it isn't going away. This is how the younger generation lives today.

He's a piece of **** traitor, he can tweet pics of a championship trophy all he wants.....he didn't have anything to do with it!! Hell, he couldn't even field a damn kickoff last year and got pulled from special teams. You gonna tweet about how it's personal before you play against one of the worst D's in college football? Yeah, he's a real warrior, run that damn mouth before you play against a real SEC team.

Ignorant and childish. The good thing about that is he can grow out of both if he's smart.

The kid deserved to get trashed on social media. He wanted attention and he got it. If he doesn't understand why he was trashed....that's on him.

Wish him well and understood him choosing BAMA. But I'll take Boom and Snell over him any day of the week. And they don't have near the O-Line to run behind that he has.

I'll be the first to say he needs to grow up and let this stuff go.

But so does some of the UK fan base. The young man cannot even come home and enjoy going out with his family because of the abuse he gets. Not to mention the computer tough guys on social media.

Look at the in-state Alabama kids that have spurned Alabama for UK in basketball. Why did they pick us and not Alabama? They probably chose us for the same reasons Harris chose Alabama, so should we fault the kid for picking the better school?

It's personal because people from Ky trash him on message boards and tweets every day because he chose to go to a better football program and not where they wanted him to go. Grow up people.

Probably a lot of truth to that one. Despite what they say, kids to read boards. There were some pretty ugly things said about him when he chose not to go to UK.
