Tweets this, then deletes it. When he picked bama i understood the reasoning. It's the same reasoning Demarcus Cousins, Eric Bledsoe & (hopefully) John Petty pick UK. So i didn't even dislike him after he picked the tide.

But now I really don't like this kid, he mouths off waaaay too much for no reason. Am I alone in thinking this? Why is this week personal? So u can run it up on a coaching staff that spent hours of their precious time recruiting and catering to u? Or so u can stick it to your home state fans who dreamed of having you suit up for their beloved team? I don't get where his animosity comes from?

Hes just another filler back for Bama. They have had much better .
Bama ran the ball better after he left the game this past Saturday. He is a talent, but whether he plays is irrelevant. UK will have to deal with the Tide's big OLine that makes all their RBs look awesome.
Just another player for Bama. Nothing extraordinary. If he was, they wouldn't had to have ran Henry 50 times a game last year. Even this year, he don't carry it over10 or 12 carries a game. Next year he will be passed up by Emmons and the new Harris who is a flat out stud. He thinks he's Adrian Peterson.

Yep. 90% of the running backs in Division 1 would look great behind that OL.

I'd love to see us shut him down. Doubt that happens. So hopefully we lay the wood a few times at least

I don't understand how it can be personal. Its not like UK didn't recruit him and he has a point to prove. We went all in and he went elsewhere, why would he have to 'prove' himself

If it is personal, it is his own doing.

Idk, maybe it's not personal and he's just trying to build hype like fighters at weigh-ins.

Of the 5 scholarship RB's on our roster, Emmons is either #3 or #4. After Harris and Jacobs, there's a big drop off when you get to Scarbrough and Emmons. Emmons is good, no doubt, but keep in mind that the 2016 RB class was extremely weak. Although some sites had Emmons as the #1 or #2 RB in the 2016 class, I've always felt that he wasn't as good as his ranking indicated, even in a weak RB class. Scarbrough hasn't impressed me so far this year, and although it's early, I think I may have been wrong about him.

Came here just to see what the contingent of UK fans that still worships this kid had to say about his latest negative comment about his home state and school... that he visited multiple times while being recruited.

Y'all don't mind me, I'm just here for the excuses.

I couldn't care less what he posts. I just want to see us go down there and play hard-nosed, mistake-free and injury-free football, learning from the experience.

I told you guys last week Snell was better and got laughed at per usual ...one day you guys (mainly Rafter guys) will learn..i know what im talking about
But where were you in the summer claiming this? Its easy to say someone is better when they play well. Lets not act like Harris sucks, dude is averaging 8.6 ypc this year so far.

UK and Kentucky fans did nothing to this guy. We recruited him hard and we fans wanted him badly, how the hell does that make it personal?

I will no longer pay attention or care what he does. Screw him, he thinks he is something he isn't.....anyone that would diss there home state and fans for no reason, ain't cool in my book.

I'm sure his act (and his Mom's) has to be so very tiring for Bama & Saban. they have such vastly superior talented players at other positions who don't cause 1% of the headaches Harris does.

Is the drop off as big as it was last year with Henry and Harris. Emmons averages 5.5 a carry and Jacobs 8.3. They ran Henry to death last year. Emmons average per carry is better than a freshman Harris.

I'd rather have Boom and Snell, they are doing it behind Kentucky's line.

It isn't for "no reason." He and his family constantly get ribbed by sore UK fans. And then he stupidly fights back. It's a constant Hatfield/McCoy retaliation match that won't stop because neither side can let it go. Both sides need to get a 2x4 upside the head and grow up.

Since the sore UK fans are closest lets start with them. When we've got all of them taken care of we'll probably be out of two by fours and forgotten all about Harris.

I was wondering about this also. I was under the impression that Scarbrough was the next "unbelievable superstar" back or Alabama. He still could be, but I guess I am still waiting for that breakout/statement game.....hopefully it won't happen against us, but that's the way it usually happens.

Najee Harris next year is Alabama's next great back. He's a beast.

^I know UK fans don't want to hear this but one of the reasons why Harris is starting over Scarbrough is that Harris is really good. Not just because Scarbrough is that bad.

I believe he did have a pretty sever knee injury so maybe he's not back to 100% yet. Not sure.
