go stale or there is too much pointless arguing for it to continue.

It's a judgment call.

than it is on Egg Bowl day. That's mostly b/c there hasn't been an Egg Bowl when both teams were good in a long time.

0-0 on signing day unlike this year where Ole Miss has already completed their 14-0 season.

recruiting but they aren't and they can't accept the fact that the recruiting services are throwing in their faces. Recruiting is so overhyped its crazy but they are to stupid to realize that.

it's like this every year. No one knows what the players are like until 4 years from now. All this star rating, who has a better class is pure ******** until then. We are all valuing opinions of people like Gene Swindoll, Yancy Porter, and Steve Roberston (who does a good job). And they will spin it to make it sound 100 times better than what it is.

football recruiting, maybe. But not recruiting in general. Recruiting is the lifeblood of a program. You don't win, period, without the personnel no matter what kind of coach you have. To say it's not is rationalizing.

Now for who gets the rankings right, is debatable. The coaches, recruitniks, etc. But in general the recruiting rankings reflect the most powerful football teams. There's plenty of variables in there, but the key word is general.

Why is recruiting hyped? It's simple. You get some good players, you have a good chance of being good in the future. Hope is a good thing. And it's a trend that pays off more than not in college sports. Good indicator of the path your program is headed.

I like when us State fans argue. I tend to learn things and change my opinion. However when an Ole Miss butt head comes over looking to pick a fight, I find it ridiculous. That's just someone who likes to argue.

For one thing I would think very seriously before going over to an Ole Miss board. I ask myself why I would. I don't care what they think or do. They are usually *** holes anyways and give their ability to hide behind the computer the *** hole meter will go off line. .

For second if I was too going over why attack? That is just plain stupid.

noticed former commitment Josh Hollingsworth is going to Furman.

Glad to see him land on his feet. Alot better school and will probably win more games.
