In addition to a better football team, I also thought La Tech had a better board interface. Greg Byrne would not put up with Yuku, so why should DS and HD?

Read the rest of the thread regarding the mod, it looks like the install time is an hour but it could be worth a shot.
How is chat currently handled? Is it done through yuku? Maybe there could be some sort of a proxy to an irc channel instead?

It doesn't flow as well as this. All the threads don't appear initially. You click on the initial thread and then you see the threaded view. We use a hybrid view of sorts where you click on the first thread then all subsequent replies are shown under neath. If you notice in the screenshots beliw, the main board doesn't show all the replies and that's something everyone is used to. Plus, everyone would have to sign up again.

could be a possibility. Then I have to think about everyone signing up, moving all existing threads that we have, me doing all the tech support, etc. it's pros vs cons.
so I can see who is replying to who. I guess mabye for the well informed, there is a way to tell that in the non-threaded view. But, to the novice, the only informatin apparent to me is that they posted somewhere in the thread.

And the chat here is handled by Yuku. But there are add ons for vbulletin that interface with your login.
threaded view in action, I would not want it. You have to click on each thread to read it.

Nevermind, it does work like it does here. Something to look into. How many of you would be opposed to doing this?
And after researching further, we are the mercy of the developer who made this add-on. She doesn't guarantee support as well of the latest versions of vbulletin. Back to square one.
