After sitting through the pathetic excuse for a basketball gamefor some two+ hours in the Hump today and getting back home to see all of the recruiting news, I have come up with a totally non realistic recruiting strategy for this coming weekend:
1. Prepare the recruits of the bad news of attending the MSU basketball game.
2. Before entering the Hump, gather the recruits and explain to them in some form or another:
"We are about to go in to watch this game for good reason. Keep thisin mind while you are watching ateam with no chance at post-season successplay in front of ahalf filled arena, (half)full of people not watching the game, possibly leaving before halftime, no atmosphere save the few loonies that still care enough to sling profanities in the direction of the coach and players.........this WILL be you next year if you are playing for Ole Miss. In the meantime, we will be playing in front of a sold out crowd all year, building to another successful beating of said school Thanksgiving weekend. Have a good day."
I might still be bitter about the game earlier today.
