A rainy, cool night at Ed Bassett Stadium. Neither teams offensive scored the first half. The Bengals got a 95 yard punt return and recovered a pooched kick. The Wildcats responded with an interception return for TD by senior Jaylan Fitzgerald. The PAT was blocked and it was 7-6 at the half.

Dan River came to life offensively in the 2nd half, scoring within the first two plays of the quarter and on their first 2-3 drives of the quarter.

Dan River will be at home on Friday against county rival Tunstall. Bengals will host William Byrd next Friday.

DR will be okay. They have a new QB and athletes all over the field... But Jaylan at QB?? Oh my!!! That's scary! Kid is probably one of the best athletes in 2a and could possibly take the Catz to Salem.
