I really thought Rebels-grounded-in-reality was a long-lost species that had died out in 1982.

Nothing but excuses in that article. What's new? I've never seen a fanbase refuse to give an ounce of credit to the team that beat them. Bo and their offense had a terrible night because we did an excellent job in stopping them.

I quit reading when he said we scored as a result of Nkemdiches penalty. We were in the 2 yard line anyway, pretty sure we'd have scored the next play regardless

Harvard of the South, Y'all.

Wallace, who had only six interceptions over the entire season before kickoff, threw three picks in the first half. It was his worse night as an Ole Miss quarterback by far, but he wasn't alone in it.

Speaking of Harvard, how about a picture of the good Doctor:

He also failed to point out that the only TD The Bears scored was a blocked punt.

He also indicates that the only reason we scored was Kimdeechee's penalty...but that penalty occurred on first and goal and moved the ball about one yard. Hardly a huge impact on that drive.

We woulda scored anyway...b/c "MSU wanted it more"

I hope this is the opening bell for the rapid destruction of the Rebellette football team

Meanwhile, there was an obvious missed holding that sprung Wallace on their 'pass back to the QB' play. The holding on that play gave them a first down and then they kicked a FG to go ahead 10-7.

You should have kept reading. It's actually one of the more sane opinions we have heard from our rebel brethren. It doesn't reek of "egotistical maniac" like most of their opinions will in the coming weeks.

I was about to say "unbelievable"...not true with those LOSERS

As has been mentioned, ZERO credit where credit is due. They are simply pathetic.

But Freeze better get to work on that recruiting trail. We can't take much more of this.

How many years in a row have they won the recruiting game?

love it.

our TD in regulation wouldn't have happened had it not been for the 1/2 yard penalty on Nkemdiche.. right..... and UM stunk bc our DEF played great. not bc they weren't clicking. reality will never check into oxford.

"The lone Mississippi State touchdown in regulation was the result of an automatic 1st down caused by an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Robert Nkemdiche."

There was still horrible bias. He thinks only reason we got our first TD was bc of a personal foul? It gave us an auto first down and an extra down but it still woulda been second and goal from the 1 1/2yd line. He said our offense was bad, but no mention of us using a 3rd string true freshman QB and the fact our WR dropped a lot of balls. It was way more accurate than most Rebels would have written, but still took a few shots. He didnt even say some of our best players are feshmen or sophomores either and that recruiting is the answer. 247's rankings say we have both averaged 25.8 avg class ranking over 5 years.

3 of 5 but we've both avg 25.8 according to 247 and that's with a top 10 class.

That article is why I said the game was more important for Freeze than Mullen. Thursday threw a pretty big bucket of water on that fire in Oxford.
