Hey guys,

We had the great pleasure of catching up with Darius Slay yesterday, as he stopped by our studios for an impromptu interview. We have known Darius since he was in high school in south Georgia and we are thrilled to know that he will go on to to tremendous success in the NFL.

Here is an article detailing his path to the NFL. It is certainly worth the read.

Very informative. Good for Slay. I hope he stays involved with the program. "Take your talents and use them for an education". The kid gets how to use the collegiate system to his advantage. I was unaware he earned two degrees. Anyone know in what?

Great article. That is refreshing. Slay is going to succeed at life. Level head on his shoulders, education done, recognition that he has to give back. I wish him nothing but the best. I, too, hope he stays connected with the program for a long time. His family must be really proud of him.

I'm going to have a hard time rooting for him if he ends up in Atlanta, but as a fan of him I think that would be a good spot. C. Mitch would be able to help him transition real well.

Good read. Do they invite only potential first rounders to RCMH? I've seen two draft insiders say that he should go at the end of the first (New England or Atlanta).
